Hi my name is Mikah Fox, also known as Wallachea. I am of the Northern Tutchone Nation and I belong to the Crow clan from the Kwanlin Dun First Nation, in
Whitehorse Yukon. I have spent the majority of my life in the Yukon however I did spend many years attending school in Vancouver B.C. Growing up in the North I have been fortunate to be surrounded by mountains, fresh water, lots of game and with the guidance of my elders I have learned to value and honor all living things. These teachings have guided me ever since I was a child to speak and be very active through out the territory regarding youth initiatives on a regional, national and international levels. This past Christmas I was chosen by the 14 Yukon First Nations as the male representative on the Assembly of First Nations National Youth Council. I take pride in being a strong Native youth who has the ability to invoke change across our great nation and I pledge to work along with all who feel as passionately as I do. I am humbly honored to represent the Yukon and all youth in every endeavor we undertake.
